Emerging from Baby Cave Mode

Hi! I'm still here. I've been busy having a baby. No big deal ;)   She's awesome and sweet and wonderful!  I just started feeling that whisper of creative inspiration and I figured I'd share that feeling with the world.  There is a creative life after baby.  It's a balancing act but it's definitely possible.  Here's to growing that feeling and delivering some creative babies this year! Thanks for reading along on the adventure!

Musical!

I am writing a musical! I’m on a team of 7 writers. We meet and write songs, go home and work on our own, and then come back together to share our work and give feedback, etc. Repeat, repeat, repeat! It has been so refreshing to work in this way, to collaborate, to work with music, to be surrounded with such talented and fun folks. It’s all a sweet breath of fresh air.  Can’t wait to be able to share it all with you my friends.

Modern Woman Fitness

Our comedy short, Modern Woman Fitness, was so fun to film. Would love to shoot lots more comedy sketches like this! We screened at Cake Batter's Funny Women Festival at IO West in Los Angeles! So excited to work with our talented producer and star Christine Fairfax! Also, big thanks to Finest City Improv where we filmed and the sketch came together! Bring on the funny ladies!

Improv is Fun!

I am LOVING my improv class more and more every week. As my classmates and I develop “group mind” it becomes that much more fun! I’ve got two shows coming up at the end of this month and another couple in October! Definitely a change from film acting. So different! My only complaint is sometimes it's hard for me to fall asleep on improv nights because I'm wired. Such a natural high :)
